an ostensible pinning down of an ostensible object is an extended study in intonation and harmony in forrm of a collection of 12 compositions for pure waveforms; each piece within the collection uses a certain number of partials drawn from the harmonic series of a single frequency, thus securing a 'harmony' across the individual pieces. For a performance of the work the separate compositions are combined together in a unique 'reading' specifically designed for the performance space.
To date there have been four separate performances of the work in The Netherlands and Latvia.
